The flexible AC servo-drive turret punch press capabilities at KAL include a triple-track turret and 4' x 8' sheet autoloader, which allow projects to be run unattended for increased capacity and productivity. Real-time visibility is possible because the Amada will automatically email the production manager if issues arise. This assures part quality and reduces the piece part cost.
Many of the custom components that KAL manufactures require forming capabilities. Investing in the Amada has helped to increase KAL’s productivity and reduce costs by performing some Press Brake operations such as offset, ribbing, embossing, extrusions and louver features without having to add another operation. The Amada’s heavy duty full-brush table reduces surface scratching and damage to downward forms, which lowers the need for secondary finishing operations on cosmetic parts.
